Luis Bahamondes

CEO of CEMICAMP. Full Professor at the Department of Tocogynecology FCM-UNICAMP. Doctor by the State University of Campinas – UNICAMP (1982). She works in the area of Maternal and Child Health, mainly on the following topics: contraception, especially regarding long-term methods (intrauterine devices and contraceptive implants), pain in the placement of intrauterine contraceptives, endometriosis, unplanned pregnancy, bone mineral density and composition body.

Maria Jose Duartes Osis

Jose Guilherme Cecatti

He is currently Full Professor of Obstetrics at the State University of Campinas. His main postgraduate activity is teaching epidemiology applied to clinical research in the area of maternal and reproductive health, as well as guiding and implementing epidemiological research projects in these same areas. Involved with the study of severe maternal morbidity and with the development of the concept and criterion of maternal “near miss” together with the World Health Organization.

 

Luiz Francisco Cintra Baccaro

Full Professor at the Department of Tocogynecology at FCM/UNICAMP. Director of the Assistance and Research Support Division (DAAP) and Clinical Vice-Director of the Hospital da Mulher Professor Doutor José Aristodemo Pinotti – CAISM/UNICAMP. Graduated in Medicine (2003), Medical Residency in Tocogynecology (2007), Master in Tocogynecology (2010), Doctor in Health Sciences (2013), Post-Doctorate (2014) and Associate Professor (2019) from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) ). Scientific production with emphasis on climacteric, osteoporosis, infertility and bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Maria Laura Costa do Nascimento

Graduated in medicine from the State University of Campinas (2003). Master in Tocogynecology, from the State University of Campinas, defense of the dissertation in 2008. Doctor in Tocogynecology thesis defended in 2011. She did a postgraduate course in Geneva, Switzerland, in Women’s Reproductive Health. She was a doctor hired by the Obstetrics Area of CAISM-UNICAM, from 2009 to 2012, when she was approved in a public tender as a Professor by the Department of Obstetrics of the same University, with the title of Full Professor in 2019. She works as one of those responsible for high-risk prenatal care for women with hypertension, collagen diseases and hemoglobinopathies at CAISM-UNICAMP and her line of research covers the study of maternal morbidity, hypertension, infections (Zika, COVID-19) and biology. placental. He carried out postdoctoral studies abroad (2014-2016), at Washington University, in Saint Louis (Missouri-USA)- with the study of the activity of antigen-presenting cells in placentas of women with and without preeclampsia and also the response of APCs to ZIKA virus infection. After his return, he established a Biobank of Placentas at CAISM-Unicamp and has been working to generate advances in translational research involving maternal morbidity, preeclampsia and emerging viruses. She is the scientific director of the Brazilian Network for Studies on Hypertension in Pregnancy (REHG).

Arlete S. Fernandes

Associate Professor at the Department of Tocogynecology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), working in the areas of contraception and violence against women. Graduated in Medicine from the State University of Campinas (1984), and Medical Residency at the Department of Tocogynecology at FCM/UNICAMP. Title of Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics – TEGO (026/90), Master’s in Medical Sciences (1994) and Doctorate in Tocogynecology from UNICAMP (1999). He was a professor at the Department of Tocogynecology at the Faculty of Life Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas from 1987 to 2003. In 2003, he began teaching at the State University of Campinas. Acting as a professor of the postgraduate course in 2007 with Scientific Initiation, Master’s and Doctoral orientations in the areas of Human Reproduction and Violence against women.

 

Rodolfo Pacagnella

Professor at the Department of Tocogynecology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, UNICAMP. Has experience in Gynecology and Obstetrics and Public Health, with emphasis on Public Health, working mainly on the following topics: maternal mortality, severe maternal morbidity (maternal near miss), prevention of prematurity, sexuality and sexual and reproductive health. He holds a PhD in Tocogynecology from UNICAMP and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Department of Social Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (USP). He holds a degree in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1999) and in Biological Sciences Medical Modality from the University of São Paulo (1996). She has a medical residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at HCRP/USP and a specialization in Psychotherapy with a focus on Sexuality at INPASEX – SP. He is currently President of the National Specialty Committee on Maternal Mortality at FEBRASGO and is responsible for the Coordination of the University Extension Committee of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Unicamp.
